Feel like life's flying by at warp-speed?
Ever look at your kids and wonder when they got so grown-up?
Want to appreciate more of the beauty in your life?
Everyone's always telling you to enjoy this time, it goes so fast. These are the magical years. You'll miss these days when they're gone.
You get it, but in the day-to-day, it sure can be hard to remember it. Maybe it's the sleep deprivation, the endless stream of questions, or the layer of toys blanketing your previously pristine floors.
You keep busy and try to live in the moment as much as you can. Then one day you get one of those Facebook memories posts or take a look at your kids and wonder where all the time has gone.
And you wish you'd appreciated the time you had more.
No matter how hard you love them and how much you set aside for them, the kids will grow up (fast). And so will you.
Life will keep changing.
You'll forget those little details you thought you'd remember forever.
And you'll have those moments you wish you could just slow everything down.
That's exactly why I started The Family Photo Project.
The Family Photo Project is all about capturing the beauty of your life every day through better family photos.
The Family Photo Project began as an experiment in taking my own family portraits, but it grew into something so much bigger.
I soon saw that it helped me be more present and feel more grateful about life. It became a creative outlet and a chance to learn something new. Plus, it helped me solve the problem of having nothing but blurry snapshots of wiggly kids.
I've seen such a huge difference in my pictures and the way I feel that I want to share this project with you.
Time isn't slowing down any time soon, and we all want to be present more and appreciate more of the beauty in our lives every day.
(And maybe all of us have that blurry picture problem, too.)
Join in The Family Photo Project with the free Family Photo Project Blueprint where I'm passing along all of the tips I found for beginning and sticking to a photo project, tips on choosing a project that works for you, and ways you can take better pictures starting immediately.
So who put this thing together anyway?
Hi, I'm Leslie and show mothers how to nurture themselves, be present in body, heart and mind, and bottle up the good stuff for rainy days and bumpy roads with my signature blend of joyful projects, guided journals, and delectable meditations.
