A few years ago,
we took our kids
on a vacation to Hawaii.
The beach on our side
of the island faced west,
and every night,
people would gather
along the shore
to watch the sunset.
All other activities stopped,
and everyone just watched
with their cameras ready,
waiting for the show.
And what a show...
every single night.
I was so intrigued
that everyone stopped
what they were doing
to see the sunset.
Was it because they
were on vacation?
Were their lives
already slowed down enough
that they were able
to pay attention?
Here are a few
sunset photos
I've taken.
Interestingly, most of them
were taken on vacation.
Looks like I need
to slow down
and watch the
sun go down
a little more often!
