While we were in
El Salvador,
we experienced an
earthquake
that measured 6.0
on the Richter Scale.
Luckily, the building we were in
sustained very little damage--
just a crack in the wall
which I didn't even
get a picture of.
But the experience
was amazing.
The floor was rolling
and the curtains were swaying.
It was weird because
there was nothing
to hang on to.
It was all rolling
with us!
But as far as I heard,
nobody was hurt,
so it's something
we can all laugh about
and share our stories of
"Where were you when..."!

This land is also
dotted with
volcanoes--
but no eruptions
while we were there.
It's a little spooky,
but the volcanoes
are beautiful.
