When the ladies in our
neighborhood
got word
that our
medical group
was in need of
humanitarian supplies
to take to
Central America,
they really got busy.
This group of ladies
meets every Monday morning
to make quilts
that they donate to
LDS Humanitarian Services
or areas in the world
that are in need.
.
They have made
hundreds
of quilts.
And their quilts
can be found in
homes
all over the world.
Yesterday
the quilters
and many others
in our neighborhood
got together to quilt
and gather all sorts
of supplies to go to
Central America.
One lady made these
cute little dresses. Won't
they make some
little girls
happy?
.
.
The group gathered supplies for
school kits
and a lady
sewed
these terrific bags
to hold them.
.
.
Others crocheted
beautiful afghans...
.
.
donated shirts and ties and toys...
.
.
and put together
newborn kits.
.
.
It was a great day
of giving!
